People usually use meat and butter for energy, because it contains protein, while one study found that the fat found in butter, eggs, and red meat (such as beef) May eliminate the risk of dementia.


To find out, a study was conducted at Monash University in Australia, in which data from more than 86,000 people aged 65 and over from Australia, Great Britain, and the United States were examined.

No one was diagnosed with dementia at the start of the study, but after an average of 12.5 years, 2,778 people were diagnosed with the disease.


Research has shown that older adults with high blood triglyceride levels are 18 percent less likely to develop this life-threatening condition.


Higher triglyceride levels may reflect better health and lifestyle, which may protect against dementia, said Dr Zhen Zhou of the university.



According to research, triglyceride levels may be a significant factor in determining an older adult's risk of dementia and cognitive impairment, according to Dr. Zhenzhou Ka.


The most prevalent kind of illness, Alzheimer's, is believed to be brought on by the buildup of proteins like tau and amyloid in the brain.


Experts say that improving your lifestyle is the greatest approach to combat the condition right now, even though three medications are being evaluated to lessen its severity. There is presently no known treatment for the illness.


Triglyceride is a fat found in foods and also made by the liver. It is mostly obtained from meat and butter.
